Spring into AK

After one of the most memorable winters in the Wasatch Mountains, the PW crew is taking the show north for April in Alaska. There are still more storms in store here on the homefront, but it’s time to move to the big mountains of the Chugach.

Our first stop will be Telepalooza.

The top telemark skiers are converging on Alyeska for this final freeskiing comp of the season. With well over 700 inches of snow, a heli drop for the finals and some of telemarking’s best freeskiers, the inaugural comp should be one to watch. Andy Jacobsen, Will and Kate Cardamone, Chris Erickson and Nick Devore will be the athletes representing PW. Sounds like there might be some parties of sorts as well. (we’ll keep you updated)
