Training Daze

Park City was an excellent show last week! Thanks to the 200+ who came out to the final showing put on by the PW crew.

We had a great time while raising almost 2K for the Utah Avalanche Center. Some future Powderwhore’s were tagged, but not harmed in the process.

With the tour over its time to get serious about skiing/skinning and getting ready for the next film project. There are many ways to ‘get in shape’ for skiing. We even found this guy on tour who is very serious about getting ready for some mad telemark turns. Consult your doctor before attempting these moves.

The Wasatch is off to a great start and we’ve been getting out come rain or shine, low vis or no vis. Right now it’s just important to keep logging vert and get all the new camera and ski gear dialed. Here is Darrell skiing by feel.

Nothing we’ve found gets you ready for ski touring like ski touring. Training is more pleasure than pain sometimes.

Tree skiing anyone? Hidden and not so hidden objects do still exist so we’re still pretty cautious for now.
