There will be no PW08!

It all started with our first movie, PW05. Next came PW06 and then PW07, so obviously this year would be PW08. However, the only thing predictable with a Powderwhore movie, is the powder, lots and lots of powder. For 2008 Powderwhore brings you The Pact

What were you doing at age 15?

At the age of 15 Lorin Paley is doing it all, telemark racing, alpine racing, school, and coaching. We met her on the PW07 movie tour last year in Steamboat, and stayed with her family. We’d planned on filming with her this past winter, but it didn’t work out. I thought I had busy winters till I met her and found out all she does.

Lorin made her Telemark World Cup racing debut this year with nothing but top ten finishes. Overall she placed second at US Telemark Nationals. She helps coach telemark racing, and was on the High School Telemark race team. Oh yeah, she alpine races as well.

Lorin does it all while maintaining straight A’s in all her courses. She appeared in Steamboat Magazine twice, Telemark Skier Magazine, and on the RSN Today Show.

What’s in the future for Lorin? She’s planning on competing at the Junior Telemark World Championships in Austria, possibly filming with Powderwhore, and more FIS races. What were you doing at age 15?

Powderwhores in the News.

If you’ve seen our first movie, PW05, then you remember Andy Rosenberg’s amazing avalanche survival on Mount Superior. Last month NBC’s Dateline program flew Andy Jacobsen and Andy Rosenberg out to New York for an interview on the avy for a special on 911 calls.

What a bunch of granola eating hippies!

I guess this is what you would call selling out.

They are good snacks though.
